Borrowing Resources
Working in partnership with your Faculty we provide a wide range of resources that you can borrow. Our collection will contain key texts, a range of supplementary reading and support materials that you are able to borrow for either 4 weeks, 1 week or 1 day.
If there is a resource you feel would be helpful to your subject please let us know and we will be happy to consider purchasing it for our collections.

Our Library Catalogue makes it easy to find the resources you are looking for, to check the availability of stock, access e-books and manage your loans online.
How to borrow resources
Our issue machines enable you to borrow quickly and easily throughout all of our opening hours. You will need your campus card to borrow and please remember to print and keep your receipt so that you know when to return your resources. Remember you can always check the My Account service on the Library Catalogue to see when your resources are due for return/renewal.

Borrowing Art and Design slides
The Art and Design slide collection and slide viewing equipment is based at The Murray Library. You can search for slides on the Library Catalogue.
If you have any problems finding the slides you need, please see the Library staff who will be happy to help you.
How to return resources
To avoid charges for resources that are returned late and to make sure that everyone has a fair opportunity to borrow them please make sure that you return items you borrow on or before the due date.
You can check when your resources are due for return on your issue machine receipt or by using the My Account option of the Library Catalogue. To help you remember this date we send email reminders to your University email account 3 days prior to the due date.
If you know you are unable to return resources by the due date please let us know, this will help you to avoid having to pay unnecessary charges.
