There are many different options for accessing shared screens and smartboards.
Display screens. The Murray Library has open access display screens on the Upper and Lower Levels that are ideal for viewing group presentations and learning materials without the need to book a room. They are equipped with PCs and also allow you to connect your own laptop. A plasma screen with a PC is also located in the Lower Level Study Lounge.
Resource Discovery Zone. This is a flexible space in The Murray Library for interactive discussion, learning and study. Facilities provided are PC, Mac, overhead display, whiteboards and SmartBoard Technology, with the option of using your own technology. This is an ideal space to meet to discuss and create new ideas and can be used by large and small groups.
The Murray Library has three bookable Syndicate Rooms, with a range of learning technology, including projectors, smartboards and plasma screens. They are ideal for meeting with your peers to work on group projects or presentations and can be booked for an hour at a time.
St. Peter's group study booths. Located in the Prospect Building social space, the 5 group study booths include smartboards with a laptop for viewing learning materials on a large screen or creating group presentations. The sofas also have built-in power so you will be able to plug in your own devices.
