IT for guests

Members of the SCONUL Access Scheme and members of Sunderland City Library may use our guest computers.

If you would like to use a guest computer, please bring your home insitution campus card or your Sunderland City Library card to the helpdesk. We will sign you on to a computer and issue you with a guest pass. Please display your guest pass next to the computer that you are using. When you finish using the computer, please log off and return your guest pass to the helpdesk.

There is currently no guest PC access at St. Peter's Library as the Prospect Building is currently undergoing a major upgrade. Click here for more information.

The academic work of University members takes priority, so at busy times we may ask you to leave a computer to enable University members to have access.

Printing, copying and scanning

Printing, photocopying, and scanning facilities are not accessible to guests. You may save your document or transfer to your own memory device or cloud account.

Access to Wifi (for guests from other UK Universities)

Eduroam is available in all University buildings and provides internet connectivity for visiting students and staff from other academic institutions. If your institution participates in the eduroam service you will be able to access this WiFi network on campus with your own device. Your own institution will be able to provide log-in credentials for the network. See the Eduroam website for more information.
