The Academic Liaison Librarian team supports the quality processes of the University and work in partnership with each faculty, supporting your teaching, learning and research needs.
We can work in partnership with you throughout any validations and periodic review processes. To support you we can prepare documentation with up to date information regarding resources and services, and are willing to attend any meetings with the panel. To assist please contact your academic liaison librarian as soon as planning or preparations begin.
We will work in partnership with you throughout the Annual Monitoring Review, liaison librarians are available to help evaluate and develop collections to support the faculties teaching and learning. We can provide both evaluative and informative information regarding University Library services and resources.
Attendance at Programme Studies Boards enables us to inform faculties about library developments, address any issues that may arise, work in partnership with you to enhance the students learning experience
Attendance at the SSLC enables us to inform faculties about library developments, address any issues that may arise, work in partnership with you to enhance the students learning experience.
The Liaison Librarian team work in partnership with faculties to ensure students are fully aware of services and resources available to support their learning journey and to contribute in an informed way to impact measures and surveys such as the National Student Survey and the International Student Barometer.
Working in partnership with you on the various University academic quality processess and committees, we are able to gather information to help enhance our service and resources to give staff and students the best learning, teaching and research experience possible.
