Why should I use SURE?
SURE's open access policy means your research is freely available to the worldwide scholarly community and will be indexed by search engines like Google Scholar.

Research uploaded to SURE will be preserved securely and indefinitely. SURE collates the research output of the whole university in a single, accessible, and easy to search database.

You have the choice between a simple and advanced search...
... or you might prefer to browse the contents:
Add your research to SURE in 3 easy steps
Step 1 - Go to sure.sunderland.ac.uk and login with your university user ID and password
Step 2 - Select Manage Deposits from the user menu, then New Item
Step 3 - Complete the five stages you see at the top of the screen
Include as much information as you can - the more you add, the more people can see!
When you complete the Deposit stage your research will move to a review area before being made 'live' by the Institutional Repository Coordinator.
Publishers often allow an 'accepted' version of published research to be used in SURE. The Institutional Repository Coordinator can advise you of which version you're able to add. If you have a question, please ask!
If you'd like more information about this or would like to arrange to meet with me to discuss anything to do with SUnderland REpository, please get in touch.
