Assignment hand in and collection
Your lecturer may ask you to hand in print versions of your assignments to the library. You can pick up your marked assignments from the library too.
Handing in your assignments
You can hand in your assignment during our staffed hours. You will need do this before a specific date and time specified by your lecturer.
To ensure your hand-in is quick and stress-free:
- allow plenty of time to print and submit your work (printing facilities will be in high demand and there may be queues to hand in work)
- ensure you have included all pages and inserts before you hand in your work
- check and proofread your assignment (once submitted you cannot amend your work)
You need to complete a cover sheet for every assignment you submit at the library. These are available from our helpdesks.
We will attach the cover sheet to your assignment and we will time-stamp the sheet at point of hand-in. You will receive a receipt - please keep this as proof of submission.
Collecting your assignments
Marked assignments will be available for collection from the library you submitted your work to. We keep marked assignment for at least 4 weeks. We extend this during vacation times.
You will need your campus card to collect your assignment. If you do not have your campus card, then another form of ID plus your stamped receipt will also be acceptable. Please let us know the module code of the assignment you wish to collect.
You must collect assignments in person. We cannot post assignments to you.
In-line with University policy we are unable to provide grades by phone, e-mail, or live chat. Please collect your marked assignment from the library or log into e:Vision where your lecturer will record your results. If your grade is not displayed on e:Vision please check the progress of this with the lecturer who has marked your assignment.
