Membership for under 18s
We offer students in years 12 and 13 at local colleges and sixth forms the opportunity to join as guests through a tailored arrangement with their school. As guests, they can make use of the study spaces at St Peter's Library and browse our print collections during our helpdesk hours when Library staff are on site.
Work experience placements
Work experience introduces young people to the work environment and can be a valuable part of their education. We recognise that young persons from the local community gain valuable experience of the ‘world of work’ by engaging in a short work experience placement. We currently offer a small number of short-term work experience placements during June and July to students in full-time education at local schools and colleges. These are usually based in our customer and frontline services team.
