The Sidney Pollard Collection is a special collection of The University of Sunderland.

Sidney Pollard (1925-1998) was an economic and social historian who commanded an international reputation. His papers and personal library are now held in the our library and are listed in the library catalogue. Any items in the Pollard Collection will display POL in the library shelfmark field. These items are for reference only within the library.
