Supporting the Faculties and Schools

Our Academic Liaison Librarians support the quality processes of the University. We work in partnership with each Faculty and School, supporting your teaching, learning, and research needs.

Periodic review and validation

We work in partnership with you throughout any validations and periodic review processes. We can prepare documentation with up-to-date information about resources and services. We are also willing to attend any meetings with the panel. Please contact your Academic Liaison Librarian as soon as planning or preparations begin.

Annual Monitoring Review

We work in partnership with you throughout the Annual Monitoring Review. Our Academic Liaison Librarian team is available to help evaluate and develop our collections to support each Faculty's teaching and learning. We can provide evaluative and informative information about our services and resources.

Programme Studies Boards

Attendance at Programme Studies Boards enables us to inform faculties about developments and address any issues that may arise. We work in partnership with you to enhance the student learning experience.

Staff Student Liaison Committee

Attendance at the Staff Student Liaison Committee enables us to inform Faculties about developments and address any issues are raised. We work in partnership with you to enhance the student learning experience.

National Student Survey and other surveys

We work in partnership with Faculties to ensure students:

  • are aware of services and resources available to support their learning journey.
  • contribute in an informed way to impact measures and surveys.

By working with you on the various University academic quality processes and committees, we can gather information to help enhance our service and resources to give staff and students the best learning, teaching, and research experience possible.
